
We are delighted to share the news that five members of the Connected Health & Wellbeing Cluster, has been selected as a partners in the newly launched Health Frontiers Technology Innovation Centre (HF-TIC). This cross-border initiative, led by Ulster University, is backed by €9.1 million in PEACEPLUS funding and aims to accelerate innovation in digital health technologies.

The HF-TIC, based at Ulster University’s Belfast campus, will drive forward the development and deployment of cutting-edge technologies designed to transform care for people living with chronic and long-term health conditions. Through this initiative, researchers, clinicians, industry partners, and patients will work side by side to co-design and test new tools and solutions that improve outcomes and quality of life.
A Cross-Border Vision for Health and Wellbeing
The HF-TIC is one of the largest healthtech initiatives of its kind in the region, designed to strengthen cross-border cooperation in health innovation. With partners from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, the project embodies the spirit of PEACEPLUS: fostering collaboration, supporting economic growth, and improving health outcomes across communities.
